European Tolerance Center Fresach The European Tolerance Center has evolved from many individual activities and is a place for the exchange of ideas and knowledge on social, cultural and political issues. It is also a place of great symbolic importance as it represents excellence in diversity management, cohesion and is an attempt to show Europe’s capacity to act on political, ethnic, linguistic and religious boundaries in a way that strengthens and not weakens society. The “European Tolerance Center Fresach” is part of the Austrian Rural Development Programme. The project is funded with an amount of 320,200 euros for the period 2016-2018 by the federal government, the federal state and the European Union. http://bit.ly/2ckfZXQ These are the components which build the European Tolerance Center: History: Where we come from.
