The Queen of Pan Flute, Daniela dé Santos, appeared on stage in Fresach on Thursday (2 July) for the first time. Born in Augsburg (Germany) with Spanish roots she plays flute since she was 5 years old. In concerts throughout Europe she performs hits as “The Lonely Shepherd” (Gheorghe Zamfir), “Once Upon a Time in America” ​​(Ennio Morricone) or “El Condor Pasa” (Simon & Garfunkel).

Daniela dé Santos plays no ordinary pan flute, but in addition to the extraordinary sound sets on visual effects. Her glittering instrument is equipped with crystals from Svarowski. The artist plays on a high musical level, as a recent tour with orchestra musicians from all over Europe shows. Just lately, the Italian composer Claudio Riffero has composed a symphony specially for Daniela.

Apart Daniela dé Santos Fresach presented also Jazz-Musician Tonc Feinig and Klaus Lippitsch and the Latin Band from the Music School Feistritz / Drau-Weissenstein and the Choir of the BORG / Drava School. Information: presse@fresach.org
